Hultman Lab at NAMI Walk 2025
On May 10th, 2025, our lab proudly participated in the NAMI Walk to support mental health awareness and advocacy. We hosted an interactive booth where community members shared what they wish scientists would study, listened to the sounds of brain activity, and explored mouse brain specimens under the microscope. It was a meaningful opportunity to engage with the public, learn from their experiences, and strengthen the connection between research and real-world mental health needs

🕶️ Shades On for Migraine Awareness!

Our lab joined the global #ShadesForMigraine campaign 2024 with a fun virtual photo — Zoom-style and sunglass-ready! We wore our shades to help raise awareness and show support for those living with migraine. Every action counts when it comes to advocacy and visibility!
Attending ABRCMS 2023
The Hultman Lab had the pleasure of attending the Annual Biomedical Research Conference for Minoritized Scientists (ABRCMS) 2023 in Phoenix, Arizona. This conference has been the go-to conference for historically excluded community college, undergraduate, postbaccalaureate students, graduate students, postdocs and faculty in science, technology, engineering and mathematics. Dr. Rainbo, Yassine, Olivia and Anjayooluwa attended the conference and Yassine and Anjayooluwa had the opportunity to present their research work.
